North Homes Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange (SVSE) Program is grant funded* to offer services at no cost to families affected by domestic violence, and to provide a safe space for hope and healing

This program is a partnership between the Beltrami County Domestic Violence Court and North Homes Children and Family Services to offer a safe space for parents and children to stay connected.

Eligibility:

  • History or documented incident of intimate partner violence
  • Child or children must reside with one parent

Administrative Hours:

  • Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Our Guiding Principles:

To create a safe space in order to increase adult survivor’s and child’s sense of safety allowing for reparative experiences to occur within a warm, caring environment.

  • To connect and build relationships with each parent and child.
  • To respect the humanity and unique life circumstances of each family member including culture and diversity.
  • To engage from a humanistic and compassion driven approach.
  • To understand the dynamics if IPV and DA.
  • To collaborate with community partners and advocate for children and adult survivors.
