Stacy Olson started with North Homes in 2016 as aschool-based mental health practitioner before joining the out-patient team inGrand Rapids as a Clinical Trainee in spring of 2019. She had received her BA in Psychology fromBemidji State University, and completed her Master of Social Work at theCollege of St. Scholastica spring of 2019. Stacy has experience as an early childhood teacher, and had also workedpreviously as a case manager providing in-home skills work for families. Stacy recently completed Theraplay® -a child and family therapy for building and enhancing attachment, self-esteem,trust in others, and joyful engagement. It is based on the natural patterns of playful, healthy interactionbetween parent and child and is personal, physical, and fun. Stacy is also trained in Life Space CrisisIntervention (LSCI), and looks forward to working towards certification inTrauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye MovementDesensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She currently provides individual therapy for children 6+, adolescents,as well as adults and Diagnostic Assessments.
