Rachel Bougalis

Rachel has been with North Homes Children and Family Services since 2012, and has been working in the mental health field for over 10 years. Rachel currently supervises our school-based mental health programs in Deer River and Remer, as well as continues to be a school-based clinician in the Deer River School District. Rachel has extensive experience in multiple roles throughout our continuum of care. She has experience working as a CTSS in-home worker doing crisis, individual, and family work. She also has experience in adult mental health working as an ARMHS worker, and has supervised staff at the ITASKIN Center as a Shift Manager. Prior to joining North Homes, Rachel worked in corrections specializing with the sex-offender population under the Department of Corrections. Rachel is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Cased Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and has background in grief/loss. She specializes in individual therapy, including trauma therapy, group work, and diagnostic assessments.
