Lori began working with North Homes in 2017 as a CTSS Practitioner in the Deer River Schools. Lori attended Capella University where she completed her Master’s Degree and is currently a Licensed Graduate LPCC Trainee at the Deer River King Elementary school. She has been working in the mental health field since 2012, primarily working with adolescents in a school setting and also has experience providing services to adults to promote independent living skills. Lori currently provides individual and group psychotherapy as well as Diagnostic Assessments. Lori works with not only the individual but the family as well and concentrates on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is looking to pursue advanced training in Trauma based therapy (TF-CBT) and in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Lori has also undergone training and has presented Adverse Childhood Experiences trainings to groups within the community.
