Kirsten has been with North Homes Children and Family Services since 2015. She specializes in individual and group therapy for adolescents and individual therapy for adults. Kirsten completes diagnostic assessments for adolescents and adults. She often utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral, Mindfulness and Client-Centered approaches in the areas of stress management, depression, adjustment, and anxiety disorders along with oppositional defiant behaviors. Kirsten is nationally certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and is a certified in MAP (Managing and Adapting Practice) therapist. Kirsten also specializes in working with adult clients with serious persistent mental illness, and provides treatment for people who are sex offenders.
