Jessie joined the North Homes team at the outpatient clinic in Grand Rapids in May 2019. She completed her Masters of Clinical Social Work at The College of St. Scholastica, with a focus on children from birth to age 5 and their families. Her research interests include the exploration and application of attachment theory-based approaches. Therefore, her work often engages the caregiver or other relational partners in the therapeutic process. Jessie’s work in early childhood mental health includes – DC: 0-5 diagnostic assessments, play therapy, trauma and individual therapy. She has received training and is working towards certification in both Child ParentPsychotherapy (CPP) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
