Emily attended North Dakota State University where she received her Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in May of 2019. Emily is now currently working towards meeting the requirements set forth by the Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy to gain her LPCC licensure. She has experience working with clients who struggle with Anxiety,Depression, Shame, Trauma, Suicidality, and Existential Crises. Emily provides therapy from a NarrativeTherapy approach that centers on a client’s life story. She has also received training in Shame andShame Resilience, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and CognitiveBehavioral Theory (CBT). Emily has worked with youth and teenagers in group and individual settings; however much of her work focuses on high school age into adulthood.
