Housing Support is a grant funded program designed to help adults with mental illness find and maintain safe, stable and affordable housing.

Services Include:

  • Locating available housing
  • Working with housing resources
  • Assistance with rental application
  • Exploring housing preferences and needs
  • Understanding tenant rights and responsibilities
  • Developing positive relationships with landlords and neighbors
  • Keeping your home safe, clean and comfortable
  • Assistance with money management and budgeting

Eligibility

  • 18 years or older
  • In need of safe, affordable housing – currently homeless or at risk of homelessness
  • Diagnosis of a serious mental illness determined by a Mental Health Professional
  • Must be a resident of Itasca County
