North Homes Children and Family Services offers mental health and substance use care, as well as trauma-informed support for youth impacted by human trafficking. Services are available to individuals and families across northern Minnesota.
Licensed therapists and counselors provide:

Support for trauma, stress, emotional regulation, and relationship difficulties
Services are available to children, adolescents, and adults seeking mental wellness or support through life transitions.
We offer outpatient treatment for adolescents and adults experiencing substance use or co-occurring mental health needs. Services include:
Substance use assessments
Relapse prevention strategies
Family counseling and education
Recovery-focused therapy sessions
Programs are individualized to meet each person’s readiness for change.
Safe Harbor services provide trauma-informed care for youth and young adults (up to age 24) who have experienced trafficking or exploitation. Services include:
Emergency housing and stabilization
Safety planning and crisis response
Collaboration with community organizations
Access to counseling, case management, and referrals
