Ethan, aged 9, is a fun, friendly, and adventurous child with an infectious smile and laugh. He loves running around, playing in the yard, and swimming during the summer months. Ethan is also a talented young artist who can draw road signs and company logos perfectly from memory! His favorite foods are fruit—lots of it—along with pizza.

Ethan has limited verbal communication skills due to his diagnosis and will require additional support to improve his language and communication abilities. An ideal family for Ethan would provide plenty of supervision and be ready to advocate for him in various program settings. Patience and the ability to implement routine and consistency are also important.

Additionally, prospective families should be open to maintaining contact with Ethan’s biological family members, as well as with his current foster parent, to whom he has grown very attached.
