Connie has a Master of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice Leadership and Administration from Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Connie has twenty five years’ experience working with individuals/children with mental health diagnosis as well as behavioral difficulties.  She has been a program director for an adult mental health program and juvenile probation officer.  Connie is responsible for the operations of all children residential programs across our continuum, and admissions coordination.  Connie has worked for North Homes Children and Family Services since 2002.

REGIONAL SERVICES OFFICER

Kim has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Non-Profit Leadership Management. Kim has worked at North Homes since 2003 and has been involved with assessing gaps in the communities and developing programs that North Homes can provide to children, families and community members.  Kim oversees operations in both Bemidji and Duluth locations. She continues to develop professional partnerships with community agencies in order to best serve consumers.

Laurie holds a BA in Management from St. Scholastica and is certified by the Compliance Certification Board in the area of Healthcare Compliance (CHC). Laurie has been with North Homes Children & Family Services for over 20 years. Laurie was born and raised her family in Northern Minnesota and believes that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the best of Minnesota. Laurie is very proud of the full continuum of care the agency offers and especially loves the programming that is offered that includes Northern Minnesota outdoor activities.

Heidi earned her Master of Arts degree in Sociology from Ohio University and has been with the agency since 2006.  As the Quality Assurance Director, she oversees quality assurance and continuous quality improvement functions and activities throughout the agency.  Heidi is responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal licensing requirements, and adherence to accreditation standards for all programs and locations.

Ali has been with North Homes Children and Family Services since 2003. Ali is responsible for all aspects of our chemical health programming throughout North Homes. She also serves Itasca County as CD Commitment Coordinator and County Assessor. Ali is also a member of the Itasca County Wellness Court.

Katie has been with North Homes Children and Family Services since 2012, and working in the mental health field for 20+ years.  Katie oversees the day-to-day clinical operations at our Grand Rapids outpatient clinic.  Katie is also the Clinical Director for our Central Region CTSS school-based programming.

Rachel has been with North Homes since 2008 in a variety of capacities.  As a therapist, her competency is in addressing trauma through various modalities, including TF-CBT and EMDR.  Rachel currently works for us as a consultant on CTSS services, compliance, and expansion, and focuses on building and enhancing our CTSS School-Based programming.

Suzette has been with North Homes Children and Family Services since 2000. She oversees our Boys Program, Teens in Transition, and Next Step Programs – as well as our Secure Unit that is run in partnership with Itasca County at the ITASKIN Center.

Bill has been with North Homes Children and Family Services since 2005. Bill oversees all mental health professionals for the entire North Homes Continuum of Care, as well as the clinical operations for all programs.

Courtney has been at North Homes since 2018 and has a Master’s in Clinical Counseling and Psychological Services. Courtney works in the Residential setting as a Clinical Therapist and provides individual, family, and group services. Courtney is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is trained as an EMDRIA provider as two of her specialties. Along with being a therapist, Courtney is also the Clinical Director for the Residential setting in Grand Rapids, MN.

Luke graduated from Bemidji State University, and in 2005 he began working, as a Mental Health Practitioner, with North Homes Children and Family Services in Bemidji.  The following year he joined the Foster Care team, as a Case Manager and in 2021 he became the current Adoption/Foster Director.

Britt graduated from Minnesota State University of Moorhead, (MSUM) in 2006 with a bachelor of social worker and became a licensed social worker (LSW). She has worked at North Homes since 2011 with 10 years of experience working as a foster/adoption case manager and licensing.  In 2017, Britt changed positions at North Homes to Quality Assurance Specialist with a focus on outpatient mental health services.  In 2020, North Homes received a planning grant from MN DHS to become a certified as a CCBHC. In 2021, Britt switch roles to the CCBHC Director.
