boys program
Programming for up to six boys in a group residential setting, licensed by the Minnesota Department of Corrections, the Boys Program has family style living, a treatment based philosophy and a compliment of a correctional component based on a youth's individual needs.
The Boys Program provides comprehensive program alternatives which may include, but are not limited to:
Daily Programming & Skill Development
- Education
- On-site health screenings and interventions
- Time management
- Individual treatment planning and goal setting
- Nutrition and meal planning
- Budgeting and money management
- Interpersonal and social skills
- Structured daily recreation and leisure activities
- Daily therapeutic and behavioral groups
- Staff-to-Client ratio 1:6

- Chemical Dependency programming
- Mental health services
- Secure correctional programming
- Psychosexual evaluation
- Healthy sexuality groups
- Assessment and counseling services
- Thinking for a change (Cognitive Behavioral Educational Group)
- Transitional services
- Cultural education, activities and advocacy
Each treatment plan consists of a four level system which outlines specific goals based on individual need. Treatment plans are reviewed weekly to assess a youth's level and goal progress. Discharge planning occurs on an individual basis as specific goals are attained.
